When people are reading on the internet they tend to scan the page so keep paragraphs short and easy to read. •Writing articles in a publication read by your target market is an excellent way of becoming known as an expert in your field. To do this you will need to start sending articles off to various publications and be patient. If your writing is good and you convey your expertise, you are bound to be accepted. •There are many web sites that publish articles and it is fairly easy to become accepted as an “expert author”. •Writing and e-zine or news letter is another option. For this you would need to collect a data base of e-mail addresses to send your news letter out to on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis. •Blogging is another way of keeping in touch either with friends or customers. A blog is an online journal where you can post comments, links, stories and articles. This has become a very popular medium for sharing your feelings and experiences. A blog is free and is a fun way to network with other users online. It's a great way to let your customers know what's going on in your business. You can just do a search for free blogs and choose one from your geographic area. To be honest there is slightly more to it than that, but that information will have to wait for another time.
