Life Goals Should Be Set For Each Area Of Your Life.

Find out how to define your life goals and change the beliefs that are holding you back. To do this you need to look at the 8 areas of your life being;

emotional, health, vocation/work situation, money, spiritual, social/family, personal development and partner.

Compare these 8 life areas and decide which three are out of sync with the other life areas on a scale of 1-10. So in other words, you may decide that:

•Emotional=5

•Health=4

•Vocation=8

•Money=5

•Spiritual=8

•Social=7

•Personal development=8

•Partner=9

Just remember that the aim here is to get all the areas that you wish to set life goals for, on more or less the same level and that no number that you arrive at is right or wrong! The level could all be 3-4 for all areas or it could be 8-9 for all areas. Both of these scenarios would mean that your life is running smoothly which is what you are aiming for.

So let’s assume that you have decided to set life goals for the emotional, health and money areas of your life and wish to bring them in sync with all the other areas, where on earth do you begin?

Well that depends on your personality but the quickest and most foolproof way of reaching your life goals is to write them down and read them every day so that you imprint them on your subconscious and begin to believe that you are really capable of having what you want.

Goal setting is more than writing down some ideas on a piece of paper. Your goals need to act as a road map for a smooth journey and as a result they need to be;

Specific:

Your goal needs to state exactly what it is that you want.

Timed:

You need to set a specific date for attainment so that your subconscious knows that you mean business.

Attainable:

Although it is good to shoot for the stars, you don’t want to disappoint yourself so do make sure that your life goals are attainable in the time that you have allotted.

Measureable:

You need to be able to measure that you are on the road to success.

Responsible:

You cannot rely on anyone else to attain these goals for you so you need to be responsible for them.

So this is a brief outline of how to write down your goals and it is not impossible to do this on your own. Should you, however, decide that you would like to have a life coach to help you along on your journey, please fill in your details below and I will contact you with details of my coaching service.

Remember that;

“Every single life only becomes great when the individual sets upon a goal or goals which they really believe in, which they can really commit themselves to, which they can put their whole heart and soul into.-Brian Tracy
